On December 8, 2024, the Science and Technology Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban Rural Development organized the Max Doman Expert Studio's 2024 Consulting Service Achievement Acceptance Meeting. The meeting invited three experts: Zhou Xinyu, Chief Engineer of Shanghai Urban Investment Water (Group) Co., Ltd., Huang Jin, Deputy Chief Engineer of Shanghai Urban Construction Design and Research Institute (Group) Co., Ltd., Professor Liu Hongbo of Shanghai Institute of Technology, Professor Max Doman's video greeting review team, and Dr. Zhu Longlong, Chairman of Guhong (Shanghai) Environmental Protection Engineering Equipment Co., Ltd., and his team to attend the meeting.
The attending experts reviewed the acceptance materials and listened to reports from representatives of Max Doman Expert Studio and its affiliated units, Guhong (Shanghai) Environmental Protection Engineering Equipment Co., Ltd. and Duyi (Shanghai) Environmental Planning Consulting Services Co., Ltd.
In 2024, Max Doman Expert Studio conducted 5 academic exchanges on the key, difficult, and hot areas of Shanghai's urban construction management, shared German work experience, and organized domestic experts to visit Germany for in-depth exchanges and discussions on European urban development, German municipal water environment, solid waste treatment, and other technological developments.
The attending experts unanimously agreed that Max Doman Expert Studio, based on sufficient research on the relevant data of external water seepage in domestic drainage systems, combined with existing monitoring technology and German engineering practice experience, explored several major causes of external water seepage, proposed solutions from an international perspective, and formed a universal technical route and evaluation plan, which is of great significance for further improving the quality and efficiency of Shanghai's drainage system operation.
